Step-by-step instructions for Windows

• Review transactions before conversion, make sure the dates are correct, if the year is correct, if deposits and cashouts are in the correct places.
• Select QFX Target to match your version of Quicken or your accounting software: Regular QFX, Quicken 2018+, Quicken 2017, Quicken 2016, Quicken 2015, YNAB.
• Set the account ID (number) and account type to create QFX for the correct account. For multiple accounts, use a different account ID for each account.
• For Quicken, set INTU. to match your bank or maintain the default value. InTU. IDB defines the bank label shown during import. It has to be from the bank allowed. You can try to locate your bank, make sure that the bank you choose is compatible with the type of account you are converting to. You should leave it blank if your bank is not listed, so that the standard Wells Fargo Bank label is used.
• The currency must be USD, even for non-USD accounts, for the Quicken US edition. For the Canadian edition, you can use USD and CAD. And for the UK edition, the GBP currency must be set.
• Click the 'Convert' button to create a QFX file.
• Confirm the name and location of the file.
• Import QFX file created for Quicken
• Now that the QFX file has been created, switch to Quicken and import the created QFX file. Before importing the QFX file, back up the data file and verify that the account is not connected to online services. Disconnect from online services first. Right-click - 'Edit/Delete account'.
• Then click 'Online Services' and click the 'Disable' button. Then click 'Yes' and 'Ok'.
• After disconnecting the account from the online services, you can import a QFX file. To import a QFX file, select 'File' - 'Import file' - 'Web Connect file (. QFX)', select the QFX file created.
• You can select 'Create a new account' or 'Link to an existing account to import transactions'. If you are disconnected from online services, this account will be shown in the list. You can choose to keep online services connected and import into a new account if you have something temporary to import. You can import into this account and then move transactions from that account to another account. That way, you'll keep your existing account connected to online services and won't need to connect it again later.
• Then click the 'Import' button.
• Then click the 'Close' button.
• Now your data is imported. You can accept all transactions.
• You can review transactions. They're inside Quicken now.
