Optenni Lab is a software tool for synthesis and optimization of corresponding circuits for multiband, broadband, multi-antenna, adjustable antennas and high-frequency electronic applications.
Optenni Lab is a software tool for synthesis and optimization of corresponding circuits for multiband, broadband, multi-antenna, adjustable antennas and high-frequency electronic applications.
The design of the corresponding circuit can be very complicated in both broadband and multiband applications, and the Optenni Lab automates much of the design process. FEKO is used to simulate the impedance data of the unparalleled antenna, which is transferred to the Optenni Lab to synthesize different corresponding topologies, using realistic library models from various component vendors and ranking the best results for further investigation.
The Optenni Lab allows synthesis using an arbitrary number of discrete or distributed components. Optenni Lab has easy-to-use antenna diagnostic tools to pre-select the most promising prototype candidates for the desired bandwidth and isolation targets. The Optenni Lab properly takes into account the mutual coupling of nearby antennas and finds the corresponding circuits that provide the best overall efficiency. The very challenging design problem of frequency tuning using capacitors or variable switches is supported.
By designing corresponding circuits for low-noise amplifiers and power amplifiers, users can specify the optimal impedances for best noise, power, or efficiency performance – including the impedances at the harmonic frequencies. Together with a dedicated circuit simulator or measurement configuration, Optenni Lab provides a quick solution to the time-consuming design phase.
