One Software - All Platforms
P5 Software Suite runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, Synology, QNAP and NETGEAR. This protects your investments, as the software can be moved to a different server operating system at any time.
The P5 Software Suite is also neutral about the storage used and therefore allows, for example, cloning from one OS to another or restoring files on a platform other than that of the source (example: The P5 Software Suite server on Linux archive files Mac workstations).
Important file properties, such as access rights and extended attributes, remain intact.
Your installation - your resources
Thanks to universal compatibility, P5 Software Suitese adapts to your existing storage environment. Investments in specific hardware are not required.
The features can be used for multiple modules simultaneously, for example, a tape library for P5 Backup and P5 Software Suite. If necessary, resources can be reallocated to adapt to changed circumstances without the need for reinstallation and with minimal administration efforts.
