Installation
You can easily install the PDF View Plugin for Jira using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) built into Jira. You can install it in two different ways, but we recommend the first approach for your convenience. You should use the second approach only if the server hosting your Jira instance does not have access to the Atlassian Marketplace, that is, when direct communication of Jira with the Marketplace server is not possible.
Installing directly from atlassian marketplace
Enter Jira as an administrator, go to Jira Administration → Add-ons → find new add-ons and search for the term "pdf view".
Click Install in the "PDF View Plugin for Jira" entry in the search results.
Click Manage Add-ons on the left and verify that the "PDF View Plugin for Jira" is visible in the User-installed Add-ons list and that it is enabled.
Installing by uploading the JAR app
· Download the JAR app from your Atlassian Marketplace page. Be sure to download the version of the application corresponding correctly to your version of Jira.
· Enter Jira as an administrator, go to Jira Administration → Add-ons → Add-ons, and click Load Add-on on the right.
· Click Browse, select the jira-pdfview-plugin-x.y.z file.jar which you just downloaded and upload it.
· Make sure that the PDF View Plugin for Jira is visible in the list of add-ons installed by the user and that it is enabled.
