Step-by-step instructions for Windows

Review transactions before conversion. Check that the dates are correct, that the correct year (Date), the amount, withdrawals and deposits are shown in the corresponding columns, the check number (Doc / Check #) is assigned

Set the INTU number. IDB to match your bank or use a default value. INTU. IDB sets the bank label shown during import. It has to be from the allowed bank. You can try to locate your bank, make sure the bank you choose is compatible with the type of account you are converting to. Keep the default value if your bank is not listed (3000-Wells Fargo or any bank allowed

Set the Account ID (number) and Account Type. The account ID must have all Quickbooks digits. For multiple accounts, use a different account ID for each account.

The currency must be USD, even for non-USD accounts, for the US edition of Quickbooks. For the Canadian edition, you can use USD and CAD. And for the UK edition, the GBP currency must be set. If you have another currency, you need to use another converter, for example, the Bank2IIF converter, which converts PDF files and can create IIF files and import it into any currency account.

You can skip settings such as End Balance, Bank ID, Agency ID, Encoding for Quickbooks, but you can set them if your accounting software requires them.

Click the 'Convert' button to create a QBO file.

Confirm the name and location of the file.

Now that the QBO file has been created, switch to Quickbooks and import the QBO file you created. Before importing a QBO file, make sure that the account you need to import does not have the yellow warning icon. Click on 'Lists' - 'Charts of Accounts'.

Because if you have the icon, it means that the account is linked online to the direct download. You need to disconnect first to import a QBO file.

To disconnect, right-click 'Edit Account'.

Then click on 'Bank feed settings' and 'Disable all online services' first, if necessary. Make sure there is no yellow icon after the change. After disconnecting the account from the online services, you can import a QBO file.

To import a QBO file, select 'File' - 'Utilities' - 'Import' - 'Web Connect', select the QBO file created and select an existing account to import transactions. Check the bank label, Account type, Account number to select the correct account in Quickbooks. Then click the 'Continue' button.

Now your data is imported.

Click 'Transaction List' to review the transactions.

Assign vendor records and expense/income accounts before adding transactions to the record.

If you want to see the Memo column in the QBO file, click on 'Show bank memo'. After the records and the vendor account are defined, you can add transactions to the record.
