What is PhotoModeler?

PhotoModeler is a Windows software package for measuring and modeling real-world objects and scenes through the use of photographs. Developed by Eos Systems Inc, The PhotoModeler is the world leader in its class.

The software is a photogrammetry program or, technically, a short-lived analytical converged photogrammetry software system – but don't worry about these technical terms. You don't need to be a photographer and mathematician to use this software, as this software already brings you the powerful photogrammetry tools you need in a simple and easy-to-use Windows environment.

How it works

Step One: Take photos from different angles

Step two: Upload the images to the software

Third step: Choose the desired method that will appear on the screen

• Manual method: Combine features in common between photos manually
• Segmentation method: Automatically marks features and quickly models
• DSM method: Generates dense dots from overlapping photos
• UAV method: Generates dense spots and surfaces of overlapping aerial photos

Last step: Review, measurement and export

System requirements:

Windows 7 or higher 64bits

If your Windows is 32bits, the old version of PhotoModeler will be compatible, but you'll need to contact the producer to get this version

There is a little compatibility with Mac and Linux, but its functions will be limited because the software does not have its version finished for these operating systems
