What is Pipedata ?
Pipedata-Pro is a computer program that increases efficiency in pipe design and reduces the burden of searching for pipe information. A valuable asset in the Piping Designers inventory, Pipedata-Pro delivers intuitive, hassle-free recovery of up-to-the-minute design and piping data. Dimension and weight units can be defined as metric or American units. Pipedata has dimensional and weight information for 72 common ASME pipe components, all in one fast, convenient and easy-to-use interface.
Introduced in 1996 by Zeataline Projects, Pipedata-Pro now has a global presence. Clients include WorleyParsons, Wood Group, Jacobs, CBI, JGC, Shell and ExxonMobil.
Based on asme's latest dimensional pipe specifications, it shows metric units, inch fractions, NPS and DN pipe sizes and includes audited valve weights, flange weights, pipe weights, and all pipe component weights.
Mapped versions of Pipedata-Pro piping tables are used in the products of Alias Ltd, the company behind Isogen, Spoolgen and I-Sketch, and AVEVA, which produce PDMS, the factory's 3D modeling set.
Pipedata-Pro was reviewed by the ASME B31 Mechanical Design Committee, ASME B31.3 Committee, MSS-SP-97 Committee and several others to 'correctly justify' ASME iso codes and properly metrise US standards.
The software is continuously updated to remain compliant with changes in piping specifications and operating systems. And with feedback from Zeataline Projects users, Pipedata-Pro is new and current for today – and for the future.
