In addition to costs, deadlines are one of the key points of the implementation of the works. Projekt-Manager allows for tighter planning, construction and assembly times. For this purpose, the program clearly presents the work processes and mutual dependencies in the form of bars, structures or network plans, optimizes the use of resources and shows bottlenecks. If the individual processes are linked to each other and their time dependencies are defined, it is possible to quickly and accurately calculate the consequences of postponing one or more negotiations for subsequent commitments. The utilization of employees, vehicles or equipment can also be optimized with the help of bar charts. Therefore, Projekt-Manager can be used both for the external coordination of those involved in the project and negotiations on the construction site, as well as for the internal staff of the office and resource planning.

Projekt-Manager has a highly functional and very flexible function with which temporal processes and mutual dependencies can be visualized. The properties of the selected cells can be displayed through the context menu and adapted as needed. Linking activities is also easy: if a bar is selected with the mouse pointer, it can be quickly linked to other activities using the symbols that appear. Modifying the bars has also been improved: if multiple bars are selected using the keyboard or mouse pointer, they can be edited or moved as needed.

The resulting effects on all processes are displayed immediately using the preview function. For each process it can also be specified whether it should be planned automatically by the program or manually by the user. Additional functions of Projekt-Manager include a multi-level undo function, with which various processing steps can be undone or redone, as well as a sorting and filtering function to find faster processes. With improved print preview, the layout of bars, structure, or network diagrams can be optimized even more easily. In the preview, the area to change can be selected, edited, and formatted with a double-click.
