Size virtually any propeller
PropExpert determines the ideal diameter, pitch, blade area and RPM for commercial internal propellers from two to five blades, from about 450 mm (18 inches) in diameter to about 2.5 m (100 inches). Both gawn and aluminum foil (B series) propellers are supported, as are duct propellers (Kaplan). PropExpert evaluates shell and "progressive pitch" propellers (curved) and offers special consideration for folding propellers and propellers in stern pockets.
