ProteusDS is an innovative dynamic analysis software used to test virtual prototypes of a wide variety of marine, offshore and submarine technologies.

ProteusDS is used by ocean engineers and ocean industry professionals to test virtual prototypes of systems exposed to extreme winds, currents and waves. ProteusDS enables 3D engineering and operational analysis of towed anchorages, pipelines and bodyworks, along with many other applications from the ocean industry. Whether driven by certification or the desire to create elegant solutions, assessing system dynamics is all about risk reduction.

A powerful graphical user interface makes setting up simulation quick and easy. Context-sensitive documentation is embedded, so users can check the configuration of the model as they progress.

3D visualization allows flexible viewing options during pre- and post-processing. Videos can be exported for promotional and project presentations.

An ever-growing set of extensive tutorials and a detailed manual guide new users and update experienced users on key aspects of the software.

DSA and user-generated libraries enable rapid development of new concepts. Part libraries feature line types such as chain, fiber cable and cable, and items such as sinlets, joints.

DSA has developed easy-to-use tools for importing hydrodynamic data from BEM software, such as ShipMo3D, WAMIT and NEMOH, that allow simulation of wave radiation, diffraction and deviation in ProteusDS.

Automated reports save countless hours and provide immediate information about simulation results. Tabular simulation summaries are easy to read and provide an auditable track of simulation parameters.

The Application Programmer Interface (API) provides users with incredible power to interact with simulations or connect to Matlab Simulink models.
