What is Radiator Policy and Charging Pack?

The radiator policy and charging bracket for the AAA Server Software Radiator are available through the Radiator Policy and Charging Pack, which includes:

Extensible PCRF with VoLTE/VoWi-Fi support

Extensible PCEF – RADIUS integration and Wi-Fi offloading

PCEF Gx usage monitoring and Gy RADIUS online charging support prepaid and postpaid accounting

Extensible Online Charging System (OCS) for prepaid plans

Extensible Offline Charging System (OFCS) for postpaid plans

Flexible monitoring capabilities

All components can be used in NFV environments

Radiator Service Provider Package

1st year of unlimited email support

1st year of access to new releases and patches of all software

The Radiator Policy and Charging Pack extends the Radiator by allowing direct connections to your 3GPP infrastructure through Diameter interfaces – a protocol commonly used in telecommunications systems. The Radiator Policy and Charging package includes support for different interfaces and implementations related to policies and charges specified by 3GPP.

The existing authentication, authorization, and accounting capabilities in Radiator are available for Diameter – RADIUS integration. Examples of use include Wi-Fi offloading, Diameter online and offline charging integration with RADIUS-based infrastructure, RADIUS accounting integration with Diameter online and offline charging, and more.
