What is Reality Capture ?

RealityCapture is a state-of-the-art multifunctional photogrammetry software solution that automatically extracts accurate and beautiful 3D models from a set of common images and/or laser scans.

In addition, it records images, calculates mesh, texture, parallel projections, DSM, georeferencing, and coordinate system conversion - that's only a fraction of what you get from RC.

Laser & Images

Laser scanning caters to state-of-the-art photogrammetry - all in one package. Laser scanners are natively supported within the app, not just mixing point clouds, these are also fully involved, even during a camera or a laser scanner. This leads to a truly unbeatable accuracy.

- Rebuild missing parts using images.

- Automatically filter moving objects.

- Perform automatic processing of registered and unregistered laser scans and/or images.

- Improve and facilitate laser scan registration using photos and/or control points.

Analysis and continue

RealtiyCapture features a super-fast draft mode that aligns 500x12 megapixel images in less than 10 minutes on a notebook, right in your desktop. Combine any type of data you have - images, laser scans, aerial images...  Do a good analysis well in your field of work and get to what you need efficiently.

- Take photos and add them to a project.

- Click the draft alignment.

- Repeat steps 1 through 3 until the desired result is achieved.

System Requirements

RealityCapture requires:

64-bit machine with at least 8 GB of RAM

Microsoft Windows version 64-bit 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 or Windows Server version 2008+

NVIDIA graphics card with CUDA 2.0+ features and 1 GB of RAM.

We recommend that you use a machine with at least 4 CPU cores, 16 GB of RAM, and 1024 CUDA cores. If you don't have the NVIDIA card, you can still run the app and record images, you won't be able to create a textured mesh. The CPU is required to support SSE4.2 (Streaming SIMD Extensions 4.2) or higher.

For Microsoft Windows N, you'll need to install the Media Feature Pack for Windows.
