Designed to work for your LAN, WAN, or the Internet, securely and without configuring any firewalls, NetSupport Manager is a simple solution for remote support – without third-party services or permanent costs of a time-set subscription.
It is a solution – available from your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone – that allows secure and perfect access to stations and servers across the enterprise, both locally, when you are in the office, as remote, when on the go.
Platform flexibility
Connect with any remote device running Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chrome OS (or the old CE, DOS, or Solaris).
Monitoring systems with interactive thumbnails
The Monitor Mode feature allows a user to present the thumbnails of all connected Clients at the same time. You can adjust the size of these thumbnails at will. In addition, the user can hover over a particular thumbnail and see its amplified image.
Remote control
Watch, share, or control the screen, keyboard, and mouse of any machine, whatever the chromatic resolution or operating system. NetSupport Manager provides the fastest and most secure remote control available today
Self-grouping of remote systems
Control's "tree view" provides an instant overview of your IT infrastructure, grouping remote systems based on predefined criteria such as operating system, computer type (laptop, multifunction, desktop, tablet, virtual, etc.) and even country. In addition, all devices are grouped together by the Version of NetSupport, ensuring ease in handling updates.
File transfer
A user transfers files between their machine and another station using a simple drag-drop interface.
NetSupport uses the intelligent "Delta File Transfer" technology to reduce transfer time by repeating files that already exist, checking each block of data into a file and transferring only those that have changed.
Transmitting files from one computer to another can be useful, but the real benefit comes from NetSupport Manager's ability to copy files from one system to many in a single action: "file distribution." The user can distribute files or folders from your machine to multiple Client machines at the same time and with minimal effort. Using this feature, files are distributed to the machines of all connected clients (end users), whether individually selected or belonging to a predefined group. Another quick method is to drop the files to the desktop or my documents folder.
NetSupport Manager also displays dynamic folders. By starting a file transfer to a remote computer, the path to any open folders (Explorer windows) on your desktop appears at the top of the transfer window, making it quick and easy to select.
Remote inventory and system information
A user gets a real-time view of the hardware and software installed on each remote station directly from their NetSupport Control. NetSupport Manager collects more than 80 specific information topics about the equipment or environment of each machine.
In addition, there is also a complete inventory of all currently installed programs, as well as all hot fixes installed on the system.
For help in remote diagnostic support and support, the remote user observes and, if security-enabled, controls in-memory applications, running processes, and installed services.
Connectivity
Remote control products rely primarily on the flexibility of your location and connection strategy with end-user equipment. NetSupport Manager is designed to work over a LAN, WAN, or Internet, with support for TCP/IP or HTTP communications (or even the old IPX and NetBIOS protocols).
Geolocation
A novelty of NetSupport Manager is the simple but flexible feature that greatly facilitates the grouping of remote equipment for companies that occupy different locations. When the enabled user connects to a remote machine, the remote's location will be calculated based on their external details.
This information allows NetSupport Manager to indicate the approximate location of each remote equipment, displaying the city, state, and country (with its flag) in its own Control program. Devices are automatically grouped by country, making it easy to manage. The feature can be turned on or off in both Control and Customer or managed simply by Group Policy.
Chat, messages, help requests and audio support
With NetSupport Manager, the user can perform a two-way chat session between any number of selected users, either in text mode, without full audio.
Flexibility
NetSupport Manager includes a variety of helper features that make remote support simple and flexible to the fullest. These features include a remote clipboard, redirection to remote printers, a complete package for scripting and automated task scheduling, a network deployment tool, the ability to launch remote applications, a remote command prompt, a registry editor, and more.
Security above all
NetSupport Manager has been recognized for the past 20 years as the most secure remote control tool there is. It is preferred by military and financial institutions worldwide.
Integration
NetSupport Manager is designed to operate both autonomously and by participating in existing systems. With this approach, NetSupport Manager offers a command-line interface, with key access and variable support, to ensure that, whatever your environment, you can access and use it directly.
NetSupport Manager offers several connectivity methods to ensure that equipment is accessible wherever they are. First of all, it requires pre-installation of a "Client" component on any device you want to connect to and a "Control" component/program on any device from where a remote control connection is initialized.
