What is RPM Remote Print Manager?

RPM Remote Print Manager is a print server for Windows platforms, offering various flow and printing capabilities.

RPM Remote Print Manager – Características

Print server

RPM Remote Print Manager supports LPD and telnet protocols like any other network of print servers. We believe that you will agree that our support for these protocols is complete.

Connection systems

One of the most important skills of RPM Remote Print Manager is to connect systems that cannot communicate with each other. Almost all computer systems can print, but not everyone can support everything you need to do. RPM Remote Print Manager has a history of helping customers and partners who do this work.

Virtual printer

RPM is a printer server that does not need a printer.

Translations

RPM can pass your data to an output of your choice. We can add, remove, search and replace; pages and translate to a new format.

RPM produces multiple outputs

RPM offers many outputs, including printing, running a program, email, and more. One thing that differentiates RPM is that you can apply multiple outputs to the same job. For example, you can assign one output to multiple printers from different vendors, while archiving the print job as a PDF.

RPM uses its printed work to control outputs

The LPR printing protocol provides information about your work from the print requesting program. RPM gives you access to this data when you set up your outputs. RPM can also extract text data from your print job (depending on what you submit) and use that data. You could pull an email address from the print job and send the job to that email. The most common approach would be to use an account name for a file name.

Workflow do RPM

RPM gives you a lot of flexibility for processing print jobs. Our configuration available in a single queue can help solve a lot of problems. But, we also provide the means to send a print job to another queue. You can think of it as programming a production system. Do a lot of work on one station, and then send to the next station to do more.

Data extraction

RPM Elite has recently gained the ability to extract text data from a current print job and use the values as LPD metadata. In many actions you have the opportunity to use metadata, for example, such as a file name or email address. You can now use imported data directly from your print job.

Dynamic routing of work

takes the processing and grouping phases of work (which free you from always repeating the same task) to another level, allowing you to use real LPD metadata as part of the queue name.

Personalize your print flow

RPM is optimized to help realize the print workflow you need. We also offer customization services where we develop additional software that works with RPM to accomplish what you need.

Windows version

RPM 6.1 supports the following versions of Windows: Vista, 7, Server 2008 (including R2), Windows 8 and 8.1, Server 2012 (including R2), and Windows 10.

System Requirements

If your computer operates with Microsoft Windows XP with SP2 or higher, then it will also operate with RPM. Other requirements may be required depending on the use of RPM.

Intel 32-bit or 64-bit; at least Pentium

Microsoft Windows XP ou Server 2003 service pack 2 ou superior

256 MB of memory at least; (1 GB or more is recommended)

100 MB free on hard drive for binary installation and other files

Disk space suitable for other data that will be stored (at least 1GB is recommended)

Licensing

Licenses can be activated on only one or multiple computers, depending on the number of licenses purchased. The software will run perpetually on any machine that has been unlocked. A hardware change does not void the license.
