What is SafeEx?

Main features

SafeEx is independent equipment inspection and maintenance software and an extension to a resource management system. It manages inspections and maintenance routines via the web, where a user, for example, a project supervisor manages the daily tasks.

Tasks are downloaded to the handheld device, which guides inspectors and maintenance staff through work that needs attention. From now on, the portable device is synchronized with the web system and all the results of the inspections and maintenance tasks performed are uploaded – along with any log data updates.

The following components are in SafeEx:

• Data storage facilities: SafeEx data is stored on a server, located in Hetzners' main data center in Germany. The SafeEx server features a modern backup and recovery system, allowing for advanced specific recovery or rollbacks.
• RFID chips: RFID chips provide an excellent measure of control, allowing the SafeEx system to determine whether the inspector is inspecting the intended equipment or the neighbor. They direct you to the right equipment in case the inspector is seeing another one.

The main SafeEx product has the concept of workflow integration, in which the user includes their content to SafeEx, adjusting it to their specific needs, which means that it is built to be as customizable as possible. With this, the user will find their attributes, checklists, log, alert criteria and so on.

The basic functionalities of the web system are:

• Inbox.
• Activities (inspections, maintenance and other records of actions).
• Equipment (equipment registration, such as tag and model data).
• Export (simple export of activities and registration of equipment).
• Administrator panel (options according to the enabled modules).

System Requirements:

Any phone, as long as it has the latest Android system, i.e. a Windows Mobile 6.5 or higher.

Internet connection if you want to use the online functions and servers.
