Object recognition
The brightness of Scan2CAD is in its Object Recognition engine, with this feature, you don't have to settle for simple raster-vector conversions, since all elements are being represented by beziers or polylines. Raster effects
To get the best scan for the purpose of vectorizing the conversion results, you may need to clean up your scan image before converting it. Scan2CAD offers a set of automatic scanning feature tools called 'Raster Effects'.
The threshold forces the pixels in your image to black or white. Threshold Raster Effect is a simple yet powerful tool for quick image cleansing. In many cases, a simple threshold can remove much of the noise in a low-quality image. Scan2CAD offers simple and adaptive limit options.
Like threshold, Scan2CAD Color Segmentation is used to reduce image colors. But by unlinking the boundary, you can choose to keep as many colors as you want in the image. Color segmentation will adapt to find the closest color in a palette set for each pixel of your image
Speckles can be described as small unwanted clusters of pixels in your image. These spots are usually present in low-quality images or on scanned paper. Scan2CAD will automatically search for your image by looking for patches of a user-defined size when removing all of them. Automatic stain removal can save you hours compared to manually eliminating "noisy" image areas.
Holes are undesirable clusters in pixels within lines or shapes. Holes can ruin the appearance of smooth lines and cause many problems when converting your drawings. Fortunately, scan2CAD's hole removal effect will automatically clear your image of holes in just a few clicks.
If your designs contain broken, jagged lines, Scan2CAD's Thick Lines Raster Effect can help bleed pixels within the line, forcing them to stay smooth and connected. Unlike a simple pixel runoff effect, Scan2CAD will specifically identify lines within its design to thicken and clean.

System Requirements
Scan2CAD v10 and higher is recommended for Windows 7 or higher and macOS 10.12 or higher. If you're running an earlier version of macOS, you can update your macOS for free from the Mac App Store.
If you are in an environment where you cannot run modern versions of Windows, you can request a Scan2CAD v9 license after purchase that is compatible with older versions of Windows. Scan2CAD has no minimum hardware requirement.
