What is Security Task Manager?

Security Task Manager shows which processes on your computer are unnecessary or may pose a security risk. In contrast to Windows Task Manager, for each running process, you also see:

• A state-of-the-art safety assessment
• Comments from other users
• Comments from our experts
• Results of scans made by all major antivirus
• To which software product each process belongs
• Publisher and website
• CPU usage graph
• Full path of directory and file name
• Built-in hidden functions (e.g., keyboard monitoring, supervision, or browser manipulation)
• Process type (e.g., visible window, system tray program, DLL, IE plugin, startup service)
