Examine slope stability through several different analysis methods
The slope provides an easy and accurate way to study a sliding surface to find safety factors against failures and check for reinforcement improvements. It performs a two-dimensional analysis of the stability of the scales using the slice method and presents the results in a clear graphic format. You can also apply partial factors, including EC7, with ease.
As an everyday engineering tool, Slope software is fast and easy to use for a wide variety of slope stability problems.
How tilting works
Input: Wizards allow you to quickly enter your slope data. You can also import stratigraphy data from DXF files to accurately represent its slope.
Analysis: Choose between the Bishops' method for circular slips and Janbu for non-circulars. In both methods, the inclination of forces between cuts can be horizontal, constant, or variable.
The software program uses established methods to ensure that the forces and/or moments acting on each slice are in balance. Partial factors can be applied by the user and the partial factors Eurocode 7 and British Standard have been incorporated into the program.
This essential slope software analyzes reinforcing elements such as nails in the ground, rock pegs, soil anchors and geotextiles for the BS8006/ BS8081. You can specify water pressure, material shear resistance, surface loads, and horizontal soil acceleration. The slope checks a variety of sliding circles and offers the option of forcing slips through a point or keeping them tangential to a stratum.
Output: Full exportable tabular and graphic outputs are available.
