SQL Index Manager allows you to quickly and easily discover the status of your indexes and find out which databases need maintenance.
You can do maintenance through the user interface or generate a T-SQL script to run in SQL Server Management Studio.
Detect index fragmentation: Get a complete report on the indexes in your databases, including the severity of the fragmentation and the reasons for it.
Repair fragmentation: Choose which indexes to fix based on the severity of the fragmentation - SQL Index Manager will perform the operation for you.
Reorganize or rebuild: Define the action to take, based on customizable rebuild and reorganization thresholds, and rebuild online indexes with SQL Server Enterprise Edition.
Analysis over time: Export the results of your analysis to track and report fragmentation.
Generate scripts: Generate T-SQL scripts automatically to fix fragmentation.
Analysis of individual databases or multiple databases at once
Select your server and choose to verify and correct fragmentation on a specific database, all user databases, or all system databases.
You can also see the total time required to complete the fragmentation scan.
Advice on reconstruction or reorganisation
See the suggested action, the reason for the fragmentation, and the priority level for a fix.
If you use SQL Server Enterprise, you can also rebuild your online indexes.

Export the results of the fragmentation analysis as a CSV file to report and analyze the fragmentation over time.
Configurable fragmentation limits
