Studio One is your creative partner from start to finish. The Home page provides what you need to start your creative process: open projects, set parameters, and check for updates and tips. From there the music page is all about recording, organizing, editing and mixing your music with a complete set of virtual instruments, effects and innovative organizing tools. Then assemble and master your music on the project page. Better yet, the design and music pages are linked, so if you only need a small change in the master or rods, switch to the music page, adjust and mix again in the project. No other program accomplishes the goal of a transition as simple as the transition from initial creative inspiration to finished and mastered production.

Studio One now has a revamped hardware audio device controller for software control of the gain and polarity controls of your PreSonus interface. And if your interface doesn't have these controls, you'll get software gain and polarity control of all inputs anyway! In addition, Studio One Professional's unique Pipeline XT plug-in allows you to use your beloved collection of classic, vintage and classic analog signal processors, just like software plug-ins. Studio One works with all the standard MIDI devices you know and love, from controllers to tone modules. But once midi data arrives at Studio One, it is converted to an internal high-resolution 32-bit format. This means there's no zipper noise on the instruments, smoother controller changes and tone curves, more detailed automation, and other benefits when working in the Studio One environment. And if you need to use external MIDI equipment, you'll also be there: Studio One translates the high-resolution format back to the standard MIDI data in case you need to return to the outside world.
