This collection of large string sets brings the exuberant and broad sound of the acclaimed Appassionata strings to Stage A of Synchron Stage Vienna. Making use of the new Synchron Player, SYNCHRON-ized Appassionata Strings offers a wide variety of joints, organized in the clearly defined structure of the player and therefore easy to navigate and play.

With 20 first violins, 20 seconds violins, 14 violas, 12 cellos and 10 basses, these sumptuous sets lend themselves perfectly to exciting ly increasing themes as well as action-packed scores, producing that life-larger cinematic sound that Synchron Stage Vienna soundtrack customers are continually returning to. Viennese musicians, famous for their incomparable string sound, played each note with an attitude and emotion that endure in this new version of Appassionata Strings.

Improved joints

In addition to the previously existing articulations of Appassionata Strings, editors have added non-vibrato sustains, legatos and portals for more common and flexible expressive options. The team still managed to improve the already great legato transitions. What's more, new sustains with very smooth attacks allow for especially smooth note starts. The volume levels of all joints have been completely revised and provide perfectly balanced levels not only between the sets themselves, but also in interaction with Synchron Strings I and SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings.

World-class acoustics

For SYNCHRON-ized Appassionata Strings, software developers added a specifically designed convolution reverb derived from Vienna MIR Pro for Synchron Player, featuring the exceptional and unique ambisure of the 540 m² (5,813 sq.ft.) main hall of synchron stage Vienna. Masterfully designed mixing presets provide perfect positioning and reverb, combining custom impulse responses with expertly crafted reverb settings for each set group. By adding the synchron stage Vienna's Stage A environment to the dry samples in real time, SYNCHRON-ized Appassionata Strings blend seamlessly with all other synchron series products, resulting in a ready-to-produce sound "out of the box".
