What is SYNCHRON-ized PLUCKED INSTRUMENTS?

Classic. Jazz. Rock.

  • Vertical bass with jazz joints
  • Concert guitar for solos (individual notes) and accompaniments (chords)
  • Overdrive - Distorted electric guitar
  • Enhanced gameplay for fluid and authentic performances

This library is based on the VI Single Instruments Upright Bass, Concert Guitar and Overdrive, customized and enhanced for the new Synchron Player. Editors and engineers updated and reedited all three instruments to improve their ease of use and playability, with the aim of enabling authentic performances as their first priority, especially to play these instruments on the keyboard. The team not only improved the sample database, for example by optimizing all release sounds, but also reviewed and developed Synchron Player's Velocity Crossfade feature to adapt it to the sound behavior of fingered instruments.

Making use of synchron player's direct and predefined structure, the wide variety of joints is clearly defined and therefore easily accessible, making instruments and each of their deep sound possibilities easy to navigate and play. Mixer presets expertly crafted with Synchron Stage Vienna's custom boost responses for solo and orchestral configurations make placing these instruments on the scoring stage or in their mixing fast and simple.

Against low

Upright Bass features recordings of a fingering bass with a variety of jazz execution techniques, performed by Bernd Konzett, a well-known jazz bassist from the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. The joints are played pizzicato and include staccatos, portatos and sustains with various intensities of vibrato, legatos, slow and fast glissandos, repetitions, phantom notes, as well as single, double and triple upbeats at various times. The Upright Bass sample set is completed by pops, noises and various other effects.

Concert guitar

The Vienna Concert Guitar is the only one of its kind. This hand-made instrument with its balanced and homogeneous sound allows it to remain as a solo instrument as well as accompaniment, offering unique notes and chords. Individual notes include several short notes (including Bartok, étouffé and hammer-ons), long notes (including flute, ponticello, bartok, étouffé, natural and artificial harmonics), legatos, glissandos, repetitions, tremolos, trills, curves and effects such as harp, blow, drum, scratches and mute chords. The wide range of chords on all keys and various execution positions are offered in the categories of regular rollers, torn, torn and arpeggios, in the variants of touch, secco and interrupted. All of them are easy to access and combine, using key switches to navigate the color-coded structure.

Overdrive - Distorted electric guitar

Overdrive features distorted valvulate sound recordings of a legendary seven-string guitar signed by Steve Vai, played with a Brunetti XL II R-EVO amplifier head and a Marshall 1960TV 4x12" enclosure. Along with several short and sustained notes (with or without vibrato, or whammy bar), you get legatos, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, repetitions, tremolos, trills, free notes, natural and artificial harmonics, as well as a wide variety of scale sequences. A special treat is the various flavors of chords, especially the powerful chords for those who are about to rock! What's more, you can make noise with many effects such as feedbacks, scratches and notes with electric arc. All notes start at B0 at the bottom end, extending the track from a standard guitar into a fourth.
