This collection brings twelve of the acclaimed and widely used solo wind instruments to Stage A of Synchron Stage Vienna. To create this beautiful library, the large team of sound editors invested a year of intense work in recreating a perfectly balanced sample database and pure sound that meets the high standards of the SYNCHRON libraries.
Enhanced, optimized and re-edited from scratch
Starting with the original unprocessed Silent Stage recordings for the Woodwinds I and II VI Collections, the team worked to increase their flexibility and ease of use for a fast and creative workflow. The volume levels of all joints have been completely revised and provide perfectly matching levels, not only in the joints of each instrument, but also in the interaction with the other wind instruments included and with all other instruments in the Synchron Series. This allows for smooth joint changes without the need for volume corrections, or when crossfading between vibrato and non-vibrato joints.
Other improvements include optimized speed crossfades for all instruments, plus speed layers for Legato Performances and Fast Legatos, vibrato and non-vibrato versions for Legato Performances and Fast Legatos, reissued regular and fast legatos for trill performances with automatic speed detection, advanced release sample technology to add perfectly matching off-note samples, Loopjoints extended to sustains, legatos, fortepianos, sforzatos and trills and more.
Vienna Synchronous Player
As a Synchron series product, SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds comes with the Vienna Synchron Player that incorporates the most powerful sample playback engine on the market, delivering unprecedented streaming performance while providing a new level of ease of use. Play short notes, long notes with multiple attacks, legatos, scalable vibrato intensities, and note repeats intuitively just by moving one or two pre-configured controls, with minimal need to switch joints manually. With Synchron Player's innovative algorithms, the liveliness of these instruments unfolds magically and effortlessly.
World-class acoustics
For SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds, software developers have incorporated a specifically designed convolution reverb derived from Vienna MIR Pro for Synchron Player, featuring the unique and exceptional ambisure of the 540 m² (5,813 sq.ft.) main hall of synchron stage Vienna. Perfectly designed reverb and positioning presets combine custom impulse responses with expertly crafted reverb settings for each instrument. By adding the Synchron Stage Vienna's Stage A environment to the dry samples in real time, SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds perfectly match all other Synchron series products, resulting in ready-to-produce "out-of-the-box" sound.
