Each scan operation performed with SysTracer generates a binary image file that represents a snapshot of your system.
Writing snapshots usually takes a few minutes, depending on the complexity of your system. You can choose to scan only specific parts of folders or records in order to speed up the recording process.
By comparing snapshots before and after a new installation or program execution, you can determine which files or registry entries have been added, changed, or deleted.
You can create as many snapshots as you want or need, and you can compare any pair of them at any time, having the ability to export differences to HTML and PDF.

SysTracer supports remote scan, giving you an easy way to take photos of your computers on the network.
To enable scanning, each computer on your network will have a SysTracer executable installed as a Windows service.
The entire process is management is done from a single computer (server) with a SysTracer instance running in normal desktop mode. From this server, you can control each SysTracer client by selecting tracking targets, sending scan commands, and receiving instant results.
