Automation eliminates the attempt and error of curve adjustment
Adjust all 3,665 built-in TableCurve 2D equations or just the ones you need in seconds! With TableCurve 2D, it takes a single mouse click to start the automated curve adjustment process, with no configuration required. TableCurve saves your precious time by eliminating the endless attempts and errors of curve adjustment.
Adjust user-defined equations
Up to 15 user-defined equations can be entered and sorted along with the integrated equations. These specialized models can contain most mathematical constructs, including special functions, series convergence and conditional declarations, differentiations, integrations, and parameter constraints. And unlike most curve adjustment programs, the user-defined functions of TableCurve 2D are compiled so that custom curve adjustment can run quickly, almost at the speed of the integrated equations. You can also add up to 100 external C or FORTRAN language functions to the TableCurve 2D equation set. These equations and constraints can be of unlimited complexity.
Accurately extrapolate any dataset
Increase the accuracy of your predictions with state-of-the-art AR (Autoregressive) procedures that provide the means to effectively extrapolate any dataset. Select any of the 9 different procedures to extrapolate your data – 3 to predict in advance, 3 to predict previous data, and 3 to predict in both directions. Of these algorithms, six offer in-situ noise removal using advanced Methods of SVD and Eigendecomposition.
All the tools you need to visually discover your best model
Graphically review curve adjustment results
Once your XY data has been adjusted, TableCurve automatically sorts and plots equations adjusted by the statistical criteria you select (r2, Adjusted DOF r2, Fit Standard Error, or F Statistic). Graphically review the fitted results as you scroll through the list of equations. A residual plot, as well as a parameter output, is generated for each fitted equation. Add confidence and forecast intervals to the chart to detect discrepancies in your data. Data, statistical and numerical summaries are also available in the Review Curve Fit window so you can better analyze the results of the adjustment. TableCurve provides all the information you need to discover the model that best meets your requirements for optimal fit.
Compare models using meaningful numeric information
Data, statistical and precision summaries are available so you can better analyze the tuning results. These summaries can be displayed simultaneously and are automatically updated when a different equation is selected for review. Evaluation option with automated generation of tables, includes function, derivatives, roots, and cumulative area.
Effectively manage complex datasets
TableCurve 2D offers state-of-the-art noise smoothing and removal techniques to remove noise in your data. Select from a total of 6 noise smoothing/reduction algorithms. Of particular importance is The Eigendecomposition Denoising, a nonparametric procedure where separation is based on signal strength. For Fourier Denoising, the TableCurve 2D provides a data cone to minimize spectral leakage and the means to filter by the magnitude of fft channels or frequency limit. Inspect analytical derivatives for all embedded equations as well as all smoothing procedures. Mascare outliers and refit your data. With TableCurve 2D, everything is so easy!
Accurately model exotic datasets
For those rare equations that cannot be properly managed by a parametric model, TableCurve 2D offers three nonparametric estimation procedures. The Spline, Smoothing Spline, and Local Regression options offer state-of-the-art algorithms.
Flexible output options
With TableCurve, you can view your chart and generate publish-quality charts in several different configurations. You can also produce files containing data and equations in Lotus, Excel, ASCII, Harvard Graphics, and SigmaPlot formats. TableCurve 2D can speed up your programming by generating real function code and test routines for all equations tuned in FORTRAN, C, Basic, Pascal, and VBA for Excel.
Maximize your productivity with automation
Save time with the new standalone batch processing feature to automatically process many datasets – no programming required! With this built-in automation feature, you can analyze many datasets while away from your PC! TableCurve 2D automatically generates output for each dataset. The output can be written to an MS Word (or generic RTF) file for all graphs and numeric summaries, and in MS Excel for numeric data. The automation feature is available for all major TableCurve 2D procedures.
