The professional mobile printing solution developed for businesses: ThinPrint Mobile Print
ThinPrint Mobile Print complements each of the EMM/MDM solutions with a professional mobile print management system that meets all your needs. The printing solution offers excellent print support in any situation and ensures a productive way to work with Android and iOS mobile devices thanks to its printing options that let you print to any printer and anywhere.
Practical network printing
Are you on your way to a meeting with your tablet or smartphone and would like to quickly print the slide of a presentation? It's not a problem! ThinPrint's mobile printing solution allows workers to use their iPad, iPhone, or Android devices to print to the company's networked printers. Users are always assigned to the correct printers, that is, those that are also available to the worker on the computers of their workstation.
If workers want to print files from applications without built-in printing options, they can simply share such files with the ThinPrint Mobile Print application, which sends the files to the desired network printer. The print dialog box provides a clear overview of settings such as page selection, color/white and black, and duplex printing.
Mobile printing on corporate printers works entirely independent of the worker's current location – he can also start printing remotely, outside the enterprise (remote mobile printing).
Printing documents to Wi-Fi printers - ad hoc and simple
With the ThinPrint Mobile Print app, workers can print using Wi-Fi, in the company, in a partner's office or on the customer's premises, as well as in the lobby of a hotel, in the airport waiting room or in their home offices. For this type of mobile printing, all printers located on the same local network (Wi-Fi) as the mobile devices used to send the print job are suitable.
Wi-Fi printing doesn't need additional server settings or support native iOS or Android printing technology. The ThinPrint Mobile Print app simply searches for the printers available on-premises that users can use to print through their iOS or Android devices via Wi-Fi.
Native iOS printing on all enterprise printers
ThinPrint Mobile Print supports Apple's native printing feature, providing comprehensive printing support for iOS devices. With native iOS printing, workers print their documents to any corporate printer, for example, an email directly from the email app or a web page directly from the browser. You do not need to install any additional software. They can also use VPN to access the company's networked printers when they're on the go and send a print job to their colleagues. MacOS printing is also securely managed by ThinPrint Mobile Print, ensuring a seamless native macOS printing experience for all MacBook users.
Native Android printing on all corporate printers
ThinPrint Mobile Print also offers comprehensive printing support for Android devices. That's why Android smartphones or tablets allow workers to print from any app using Google's familiar native printing feature. In the application, the user sees all networked printers previously assigned to it by the administrator. Workers also have the option to print to a corporate printer via VPN when they are on the go.
Flexible integration with EMM solutions such as MobileIron, Airwatch & Co.
Mobile devices in use in the enterprise require a secure EMM solution. Thanks to mobile device management (MDM), smartphones and tablets can be integrated securely and productively into the business. Mobile app management (MAM) gives workers the apps they need. ThinPrint Mobile Print enables mobile printing for MDM/MAM solutions such as MobileIron and Airwatch. ThinPrint's close collaboration with leading MDM vendors ensures seamless integration of mobile printing into any company's EMM system. This ensures that the applications, data, and devices of workers using mobile devices for printing are managed securely through the MDM/MAM platform.
Secure mobile printing
Regardless of the mobile print form you select, ThinPrint Mobile Print consistently ensures maximum security when printing. Because networked printers are assigned according to existing Active Directory rights, workers with iOS and Android devices have access only to the printers they have selected on their desktops. All print jobs are created on-premises protected by secure firewalls and are encrypted with SSL/TLS when transferred from the mobile device to the ThinPrint Mobile Print server.
ThinPrint's integrated pull printing solution, Personal Printing, offers extra security. If necessary, workers can collect only one print job after they authenticate directly to the printer. To do this, they use their smartphones or tablets to read a QR code on the networked printer or identify themselves through a smart card to start printing.
Always the right printer thanks to convenient printer assignment
With the ThinPrint Mobile Print management console, the administrator can easily assign networked printers to a single worker or a whole group of users. They are then displayed to users as favorites on their mobile devices. The IT department can choose the printers available in the company's Active Directory and printer shares on a print server. In addition, in the management console, the administrator can select which print options (network printing, Wi-Fi printing, native iOS printing, and/or native Android printing) a user can use.
