Assigning participants

Users can add a participant (or more) to tasks that require an action from a particular team member. To assign attendees, they need to open a task menu, hover over Assign to, and select the required users from the drop-down menu. You can also unassign task participants by clearing them in the drop-down list.

Setting due dates

DHTMLX allows you to specify an expiration date for a task. By default, the due date has the green color that changes to gray when the task tag is completed. However, the due date turns red when the task is delayed. You can also configure the date format by adding the short or full name of the day, displaying the month as a number, etc.

Using tags

With our to-do list, users can add any number of hashtags to categorize tasks and make it easier to find. Users can create new hastags by typing # and at least one symbol. By entering the # symbol, users can view the list of all created tags, as well as click the tag needed to add it to the task.

Configuring task behavior

You can set the most convenient way to mark completed tasks. By default, if a user selects all child tasks as completed, the parent task is automatically marked. You can enable a different mode that allows users to check all tasks manually.
