TriOSS is a GPON automation solution to perform user creation and service provisioning instantly, on FTTH networks. It saves operational costs in terms of technical working hours, increases efficiency and dramatically reduces provisioning and fault identification time, thereby improving service quality and customer experience. TriOSS acts as a black box that connects to the Network Management System (NMS) to perform its functions on both the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and the Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
TriOSS's automated configuration and service delivery are available in real time, as well as the one-click configuration method. There are several options for managing customer data pertaining to a billing mechanism. You can choose between day or time crones for the implementation of all related functionalities.
FTTH network monitoring and fault identification are controlled by setting up alerts in a third-party monitoring system using our GPON TriOSS software solution.
The basic module of this GPON automation solution creates TriOSS on the network via NMS. TriOSS are provided with unique identification parameters for data management. Installed automated TriOSS have the option to perform various degrees of service according to the customer's need and provide categorized service provisioning solutions. Solutions include internet provisioning on a PPPoE server, routed public IP configurations, voice solutions, and peer-to-peer services.
The advanced module performs live operations on the ONT to provide the status of each provisioned service. This allows the operator to check and perform troubleshooting in the event of a service failure. In addition, the operator will be able to monitor the traffic rate against the service, thus giving the option to charge customers based on the data used. The third-party network monitoring system for PON network operations and maintenance can be integrated with the GPON TriOSS automation solution. The full set of single and multiple ONTs and their subsequent physical parameters are monitored in third-party NMS. PON port alarms are triggered if fiber health benchmarks are not met. This results in a quick referral to interested field teams for problem resolution and ensuring maximum customer service uptime.
