What is Twain ActiveX?

The ability to scan papers is common in all modern offices. The image scanner is a device that optically scans papers and converts them into digital images. TWAIN is a standard that regulates communication between the software application and the scanner or camera that has a TWAIN device driver called a data source.

VintaSoft Twain ActiveX is the professional image acquisition library, which allows you to control the desktop scanner and ADF, web and digital camera, and any other TWAIN-compatible device in any ActiveX environment.
