What is Urbano Visio?

With Urbano Visio you will have intelligent tools for AutoCAD Civil 3D piping networks, with productivity features for the design and editing of plans and profile views, quick hydraulic and trench volume calculations, and custom data analysis.

Civil engineers and experts contributed their ideas and expertise to help create software that offers solutions to real-life problems. Urbano Visio is the right tool to help you inspect and edit important project data, use smart data selections and filters, apply edit changes accurately, and quickly create data tables and reports.

URBAN VISIO FEATURES

Inverted tube drawing in profile views

Draw tube inverts directly in profile views! You can set visual drawing aids (minimum and maximum depth below the terrain) and also set the preferred slope step, for example. 1%. To start drawing, just click on any structure. When drawing, you can also set precise numerical values for tube elevation, depth below terrain, and slope.

Inverted piping editing in profile views

Edit inverted existing pipes directly in profile views! Select a profile view and the starting and ending structure to review the depth, elevation, and slope values. Enter a new slope and the depth and elevation will be recalculated. Either enter the numeric value or choose the depth or elevation in the drawing and the slope will be recalculated. You can also set a default drop for all structures in the selected range.

Add, move, delete structures in profile views

Add, move, and delete structures directly in profile views. All three options allow you to define the behavior of the function (for example, keep the existing slope), select and select directly in the profile view, and enter numeric values for extra precision.

Edit pipes and structures in plant and profile views

Inspect pipes and structures using any data included in custom configuration tooltips. Selecting a pipe or structure allows you to use the editing functions to move structures and their alignment simultaneously, swap parts, insert a new structure, set the start/end lift or pipe cover, and set the pipe slope. In addition to the interactive editing functions, all editable data from the tooltips can also be changed.

Group, edit, and analyze with the data grid

With Urbano Visio create a group for any channel or structure data, including properties, custom parts list data, object data, expressions, and property set data. The data is displayed in a data grid that allows you to quickly select plan elements, zooming in on the plan and profile views, and highlighting the elements in the plan and profile views. Edit one or more elements, such as changing pipes, renaming structures, or adding data values from the property set. You can analyze data by applying filters, creating AutoCAD tables, and exporting a selected dataset to MS Excel.

Hydraulic calculation

Quickly calculate all hydraulic values for the entire network, a part of the network, a single pipe or even no pipes. Before performing the calculation, choose the appropriate formula (Manning or Darcy-Weisbach) and the system of units of measurement (Imperial or Metric). You can automatically size pipes using parameters such as min. diameter and max. percentage of pipe filling. The results are written to the property set data.

Calculation of the ditch volume

With Urbano Visio create your own simple ditch configuration using parameters such as ditch side angles, bottom width, and bed type and thickness. To calculate, select the piping, surface, and trench network configuration. You can also define various excavation zones according to the depth of the excavation. After the calculation is performed, the results will be written to the property set data and to an MS Excel report that includes pipe volumes and lengths.

Apply rules to the network

Apply channel and structure rules to the entire network or to a selected part of the network with just a few clicks: just choose one of the available networks, select the design elements and define the appropriate rules. Selections include pipes, branches, pipe sequence, profile view, and the entire network.

Convert lines / polylines into piping network

Select source elements in the drawing, define appropriate structures and pipes from the parts list, and convert the elements to an existing piping network. You can convert lines, polylines and 2D/3D polylines with arcs. If a source polyline connects to a segment rather than a vertex, the program creates a structure. You can also choose to apply rules to converted elements.
