In the V-Ray for Cinema 4D, all parts of the engine were greatly accelerated. The highly optimized new CPU rendering brings V-Ray to speeds never seen before rendering, providing a complete and powerful production toolset for high-resolution, high-quality V-Ray images and animations. V-Ray provides 100% correct physical tracking methods. In addition, V-Ray for Cinema 4D now also offers fast, fiery GPU rendering options for final frame rendering and rendering.

Simple use - new full automatic sampling:

Simplicity is one of the best new features. V-Ray for Cinema 4D's new automated sampling with its variance-based adaptive ray tracking technology offers a different dramatic way to work for artists, eliminating the need to configure or adjust all complex settings – just choose the type of GI engine, rendering time, and start rendering. Subdivisions, technical rendering settings, everything that is no longer needed in V-Ray for Cinema 4D. New progressive rendering for CPU and GPU gives you instant feedback on the rendering result.

Global lighting and precise lights:

V-Ray uses physically correct ray tracking methods to accurately calculate lights and reflected light ("GI"), as we see it in reality. You can choose from several global lighting options – accurate, approximate, or hybrid path tracking of both.

BRDFS PHYSICAL SHAPES WITH NEW MATERIALS AND SHADERS: V-RAY for C4D offers a real-world, multi-layerED BRDF to create high-quality materials and correct physics. Due to its configuration of real-world layers, it is fully automatic to preserve fully correct energy. Special BRFD material types offer all the tools and the artist can want.

Physical cameras - vr ready - stereo cameras of 360 grads:

The real-world V-Rays camera system allows you to work as a photographer, offers all physical control and provides detailed depth of field and motion blur. The new types of VR 360 stereo cameras allow you to provide the latest VR technologies.

Unlimited UV's per shaders & triplanar mapping:

Our new UV management manager brings UV channels to C4D. This allows you to use unlimited uvs per shader for comprehensive UV mapping control. The new Triplanar mapping feature allows an artist-friendly workflow to suitable map models that do not have UV maps.

Proxistics and instancamento with shader & tool material and randomization:

Render massive scenes with proxy objects. V-Ray proxies efficiently replace complex scene geometry and load only at rendering time. Through shaders and random variation materials, you can control color and texture variations for proxies or renderings.

New sky mode, area perspective, and faster volume radio:

V-Ray offers several realistic skymodels for realistic lighting of exterior and interior scenes, including hosek sky with atmospheric fog. The fog of the volume environment becomes faster now and is also available by material base, to make clouds, fog, volume light, rays of gods etc.

Support by maxon hair, skin, spline and grass radio:

V-RAY for C4D fully supports Maxon Hair through real 3d geometry using V-Ray's memory-efficient hair processors. V-Ray Hair BRDF provides correct physical hair shading. Effects such as base color sampling, color, and roottip transparency are supported. Also included is V-rayfur and V-Ray fastfur.

New vfb win & osx – lut control, denoiser and lens ejustes:

The advanced VFB offers high-level tools such as color correction, exposure, white balance, LUT support, History, V-Ray lens effects, and the new V-Ray jaunbem tool that can greatly speed up your renderings. It is available in Windows and OSX.

New clipper v-ray, render time booleans & radio mask:

V-Ray offers a real-time clipper that lets you cut any geometry, even proxies multiple times, making renderings of the architectural section of large buildings a breeze with it. It also has an option to use custom geometry for rendering time Booleans. Each Vray BRDF has a raytraced rounding option for automatic edge chamfer, for enhanced realism. The new rendering mask tool allows you to mask any render porion by various methods.

CPU and GPU production radio and new glass iPR forecast:

The famous V-Rays production rendering options have been added in speed and features. In addition to the very fast and powerful CPU production renderer, we now offer the option to also use GPU for production for GPU-supported features (for features/limits – see FAQ page). In the new IPR window, you can view your scene in cpu or gpu mode. In addition, the effects of the VFB lens and the denoiser add GPU acceleration to your renderings.

New extensive radio elements, identification steps and light that selects the feature:

V-Ray for Cinema 4D offers an extensive set of rendering elements and object/material identification selection channels through its multi-pass feature for professional post-production pipelines. It also now supports having selected lights on separate layers, to change color or intesity later through post editing tools.
