What is V-Ray Render Node?

The V-ray render node is used when you want to render your scene. With V-Ray 3.0 licensing, there is no distinction between rendering licenses for local, network, or distributed rendering. A rendering node provides the ability to render on one machine, rendering can be performed on the same machine where the GUI license is used or on another rna network machine. To use additional computers for rendering, you need to purchase additional V-Ray 3.0 rendering nodes.
