Project exchange

Import and export a wide variety of project files to and from Vegas Pro 13. Interchange project can convert between native .veg and AAF files for AVID ProTools, XML for Apple Final Cut Pro only 7, Final Cut Pro X (export), DaVinci Resolve 10 and .prproj for Adobe Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC.

Online mode

Online collaboration mode allows reviewers and editors to jointly control and comment on projects simultaneously and in real time in vegas pro 13. Multiple reviewers, each with their own iPad, can search, start, stop, and pause playback. They can also drop markers and notes with precise frame directly to the Vegas Pro timeline. Publishers can use this direct feedback to shape and finish projects.

Offline mode

Offline mode collaboration mode allows reviewers to download project proxies on their iPads and then analyze them anywhere anytime, even when they don't have access to the full Vegas Project Pro. Just like with online collaboration, reviewers use markers and accurate frame notes to document their feedback. Later, reviewers sync the proxies on their iPads with Vegas Pro 13 and transfer feedback directly to the main project for direct editor access.

Gesture controls

Expanded editing mode

Double-click the edit point to see the timeline in a detailed AB roll view. The adjacent frames of the events at the edit point appear clearly above the reference ranges, and unused support in the events appears in the timeline. With the border/event edit highlighted point in red, you can cut it with the mouse or numeric keypad. Set a loop region around the edit point to dynamically add or remove frames on both sides of the edit point, while the media plays to create a high-precision interactive editing experience.
