What is Windographer?

Windographer quickly imports virtually all data formats, enables fast quality control and statistical analysis, including MCP, and exports to all common wind flow models.

Data management

• Import virtually all data formats, including: NRG, Ammonit, Kintech, Campbell, Triton, AQSystem, ZephIR and Windcube
• Read the calibration constants of the raw data files and recalibrate
• Read and write to any SQL database
• Combine co-located anemometers, fill gaps, apply time shifts, and create calculated data columns
• Extrapole speed, direction, temperature and turbulence data at multiple heights
• The "Document History" window displays the full list of modifications.

Quality control

• Set your own flags
• Apply flags to data segments manually or automatically
• Use flags as filter criteria.

Measure - Correlate - Predict (MCP) Module

• Download free long-term reference data ERA5 and MERRA-2
• Compare possible long-term reference datasets based on correlation and uncertainty
• Choose from several algorithms, including linear least squares, variance ratio, and matrix method
• Compare algorithms and settings in terms of performance and uncertainty
• Increase or scale the target dataset to expected long-term conditions.

Create a professional output

• Export reports to PDF
• Export time series data with multiple heights to Openwind
• Export to WAsP, WindFarmer, WindSim and Meteodyn WT
• Export charts and tables to PNG files or text
• Imports /exports of enterprise edition to any SQL database
