What is WinTech?

ModScan is the original app and still the best of Windows to test and troubleshoot modbus devices. As of 1990, with the release of Windows, ModScan has existed long enough to become the de facto standard for maintaining modbus networks worldwide. ModScan operates as a modbus master, allowing its user to send and receive data to and from modbus slave devices connected via tcp or any serial communication port. The ascii and rtu transmission modes are supported, as well as modbus/TCP and tcp tunneling. The modsim companion app operates as a modbus slave simulator and the two applications are compatible with IPV4 or IPV6.
