What is World Clock?

Anuko World Clock is a software application for the Windows operating system. It can run in the system tray area on the taskbar and replace the native clock with multiple clocks. For example, you might have a double clock with two time zones or many other clocks displayed simultaneously. The following are the main features of this software program.

Multiple time zones on the taskbar

  • The World Clock replaces the normal system clock in the system tray (the area, usually located at the right end of the taskbar, in the lower right corner of the screen) with multiple clocks for any time zone you choose.
  • You can label the watches with any convenient name, such as New York, London, EST for easy reference.
  • You can have up to 12 clocks in the system tray.

Multiple clocks in the tooltip

  • If you don't like cluttered system tray, you can configure the World Clock to display all time zones in a tooltip, with only one clock visible in the system tray. In this way, only one clock is displayed permanently, just like the system clock, but you can see the time in other time zones when the mouse hovers over it.
  • You can have up to 30 clocks in the tooltip.

Multiple time zones on the desktop

  • Instead of the system tray, the clocks can be placed on the desktop.
  • Desktop clocks can be arranged in any order, such as a vertical or horizontal line or a more complex configuration. The clocks can be fixed together so that they become a single object that can be dragged and released anywhere on the desktop.
  • Desktop clocks can be configured independently to use different skins, and many skins allow for easy resizing using the mouse.

Automatic adjustment for daylight saving time

The World Clock automatically adjusts to daylight saving time changes, where applicable, and automatically recognizes the different Daylight Saving Time settings by city. In other words, if daylight saving time is used in a specific city, it is automatically applied and reflected by the watch. When daylight saving time rules change, an update to the World Clock program may be in order.

Countdown timers

  • If you need to count the remaining time for a specific event, you can do so with a countdown timer. An example below shows a countdown to the birthday along with a normal clock on the taskbar.
  • Like clocks, countdown timers can be placed on the desktop. You can use different skins and colors for them. The following example shows 3 countdown timers for a birthday, vacation, and Christmas, all of them on the desktop, just above the system tray area.
  • Countdown timers can show the remaining time in any format you choose, for example: "26 days to the end of the fiscal year", "3 minutes and 29 seconds until the auction is closed", and so on.
  • Timers support the same options as clocks, including alarms and highlights that can be configured to trigger at any time period you choose.

Timers

·         A stopwatch is required when you need to count the elapsed time of a certain point in time, for example: "5 days since they said the check was in the mail" or "1 hour and 2 minutes and 45 seconds from the start of the race", and so on. You can have timers on the World Clock.

Graphic clock skins

The World Clock comes with a variety of digital and analog skins (themes). The default appearance of the System Clock is included for users who are accustomed to the default appearance of the Windows clock.

Automatic time synchronization

World Clock comes with automatic online time synchronization through the standard SNTP protocol, supported by numerous time synchronization servers around the world, to ensure your watches are always accurate for the second.

System Requirements

Windows XP | Windows Vista | Windows 7 and 8 | Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012.
