XILS V+

What is XILS V+?

The XILS V+ features exactly the same possibilities as its famous hardware predecessor, but offers much more: while many parameters were hidden under the hardware roof, Xils-lab placed them on the front panel for a wide range of sound possibilities.

XILS V+ offers:

A free oscillator with finely modulated and emulated octave top divisor aliasing, providing up to 49 polyphony voices.

Access to many parameters that his hardware model kept secret under the roof.

A string section.

A human voices section.

A 10-band vocoder.

A touch keyboard (from which notes can be saved in their presets).

An advanced stereo space effect.

A simple but nice reverb.

An analog like the resonant Phaser.

Up to 6 free attributable modulation nodes, with up to 14 sources and 24 destinations.

A special sliding function.

A finely tuned analog pitch tracker.

All parameters are controllable by MIDI.

XILS V+ Main Panel

The main panel shows the same parameters as the original hardware for better understanding. Vocoder, human voice, strings are activated by rocket switches, following the original "top/bottom" keyboard division.

This panel offers all the possibilities you can find in the hardware.

A vibrato based on the delay of the Brigade bucket is providing the vocoder and human voice, and the level of each section can be adjusted precisely. The vocoder input "direct Mic" can also be mixed before the Ensemble (chorus).

An external synthesizer input (using the plug-in side chain) can be mixed with the internal sound generator to provide the vocoder carrier.

To offer a huge range of sonic possibilities, the XILS V+ provides four more panels for advanced settings: Mixer/ARP, Vocoder, Effects, and Modulation
