Supports all objects - database properties, server properties and configuration, tables, visualizations, stored procedures, user-defined functions, user-defined types, triggers, indexes, primary/foreign key relationships, constraints, schemas, assemblies, symmetric and asymmetric keys, certificates, xml schema collections, synonyms, dependencies between all objects (note that many of these objects mentioned here are  apply only to SQL Server databases)

Html output and chm compiled - XSQL Documenter can generate documentation in HTML format, useful for publishing your documents to an intranet site, and in CHM format, which is useful if you want a single, compact, indexed, and easily searchable file containing all your documents.

Command-line interface - xSQL Documenter can run as a console application, useful for automating the process of generating documentation for your databases on a schedule or for integrating xSQL Documenter into your development process.

Dependency charts and primary/external key - xSQL Documenter generates dependency charts and primary/external key in VML. These diagrams are much easier to understand quickly than a simple list of dependent objects.

Identify the brand - xSQL Documenter lets you easily add your own brand logo to each page of the documentation.

DDL / XMLA code - shows DDL/XMLA code for all documented objects

XML comments added to your SPs, UDFs - support XML comments added to your stored procedures, functions, visualizations, and user-defined triggers, similar to XML comments in C# code. These comments are analyzed by xSQL Documenter and the content is placed in your documentation.

Ability to edit extended properties - xSQL Documenter lets you edit extended properties on an active server from the generated documentation. This turns your document into a powerful extended property editor. You can think of it as a wiki for extended properties.

Set your own extended properties - the ability to set your own extended properties on columns, indexes, triggers, parameters that appear integrated into the documentation.

Include external objects - xSQL Documenter provides the inclusion of external objects (such as COM objects, web services, web pages, or scripts) in the documentation. Specify dependencies of external objects on database objects, and they will be included in dependency charts.

Data model diagrams - Creates data model diagrams where any database object (or external object) can be represented.

Exclusion list - allows you to specify an exclusion list so that certain objects (or only SQL code for them) can be deleted from the documentation.

Custom navigation hierarchy - You can specify a custom navigation hierarchy to include arbitrary HTML files in the generated CHM.

Documents all object permissions - xSQL Documenter gives you the option to document object permissions

Call Graph - Generates a call graph for stored procedures and user-defined functions (UDFs) that call other stored procedures and UDFs
