What is Zextras Suite?

Zextras Suite is natively integrated with Zimbra and supports and enhances all the included functions.

Zextras supports Zimbra SysAdmin to provide more services such as collaboration, online editing, file sharing, chat and videochat natively integrated with your Zimbra.

Deliver your services on a multi-tenant infrastructure, saving all activities that occur using the real-time backup mechanism. Your data is saved constantly and can be easily recovered at any time.

Connect Zimbra's infrastructure to on-premises, hybrid, or cloud storage, depending on your needs. Our technologies allow you to save up to 50% of the storage used.

Mobile devices, Outlook and Windows mail are now connected to your Zimbra server.

IMPROVED MAILBOX AND STORAGE MANAGEMENT

With Zextras Suite technology, you can manage not only multiple volumes, but also multiple tiers and storage media (local block device, SAN, NAS, and Object Storage Facilities).

Reduces the local storage required by moving all blobs to Object Storage and improves I/O and server load by dividing users across multiple nodes of the mail store without downtime.

REAL-TIME BACKUP AND RECOVERY

Zextras' real-time engine backup is Zimbra's disaster recovery strategy. Backs up all items and events on the server, lowering the recovery point objective to 0.

Backup transactions are atomic and always consistent, without the need for scheduled snapshots.

In addition, deduplication and compression reduce the space required by up to 50%, with automatic cleaning after the retention period, customizable for each server.

It supports several recovery and deletion strategies: from restoring a deleted message directly to the user's mailbox to recovering an entire domain.

Simplify delegated administrator management and turn Zimbra into a complete Saas MultiTenant platform.

Zextras Suite can easily grant customers the rights they need to autonomously manage their domain, and it can provide the HelpDesk with only the rights they need to support users without invading their privacy.

All administrator actions are logged, organized, and accessible through the "reporting feature" available in the Admin console.

MESSAGING AND CORPORATE COMMUNICATION

Zextras Team provides state-of-the-art and secure video conferencing capabilities directly in the Zimbra Web Client.

Users can communicate in persistent Spaces, Channels, and private groups, where messaging, video conferencing, and screen sharing functionality is supported for both internal and external users.

Team is also available as a Team app, developed by Zextras for Android and iOS devices.

DOCUMENT, SPREADSHEET AND PRESENTATION

Zextras Suite supports more than 140 formats, allowing viewing directly from the web interface.

In addition, users can create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations, turning Zimbra into a suite of professional collaboration offices.

FILE SHARING AND COLLABORATION

A new file storage and sharing system: simplified management of files and folders, clear view of what is shared, support for password protection, and automatic expiration of public links.

Users can collaborate on a wide variety of documents by editing them at the same time in the Zimbra Web Client.

Drive is also available as a Drive app, developed by Zextras for Android and iOS devices.

MOBILE DEVICES, OUTLOOK, AND WINDOWS MAIL

The Mobile function makes Zimbra a user-friendly mobile solution, compatible with the Exchange ActiveSync protocol – and allows users to access mailbox data on their own mobile device, within the security guaranteed by Zextras Suite.

Users can always access all of their email, contacts, and appointments, regardless of whether the items are their own or shared. Zextras Suite extends EAS to shared items easily, allowing users to choose what to sync or not.

EASY TO INSTALL AND UPGRADE

Zextras Suite is perfectly integrated into Zimbra: it does not in any way change the standard installation procedure which is quick and easy.

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) increases the responsibility of the administrators who manage the email.

Zextras Suite provides some of the necessary tools that help improve compliance, especially with regard to file location, backup management, and data portability.

MOBILE APP (IOS / ANDROID)

Zextras Suite develops the Team and Drive apps for iOS and Android devices.

The Team app allows mobile users to contact their friends anywhere and anytime, through a trusted, secure and private channel.

Through the Drive app, the user can access their Drive files and folders whenever they need to.

Users can continue to communicate with colleagues or securely manage and share any type of document directly from their mobile devices.
