Mac

• From Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) to macOS High Sierra (10.13); 128 MB of memory (more memory is required for indexing larger sites); 50 MB of available disk space.

Linux

• 128 MB of memory (more memory is required for indexing larger sites); 50 megabytes of available disk space; Web server with PHP (5 or higher) installed; PHP with support for shared memory (compiled with --enable-shmop); Permission to install and run binary executables on the server; glibc 2.12 or higher; libcurl 7.19 or higher; support utf-8 with the language code "en_US. UTF-8"

For site or CD/DVD search

Your needs will depend on the scripting platform of your choice. You will need any of the following:

• Web server with PHP (5.0 or higher) installed (see PHP option) OR
• Web server with ASP 3.0 or higher and VBScript 5.5+ installed (see ASP option) OR
• Web server with CGI executable permissions (CGI option) OR
• Web server supported by ASP.NET (hosting permission and full trust privileges for installation and execution of custom server control - see option ASP.NET) OR
• A web browser that supports JavaScript 1.5 or higher (Javascript option) - when the above options are unavailable.
