NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides agentless protection for VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV and Proxmox VE virtual machines, as well as Amazon EC2 instances, Windows and Linux servers and workstations, NAS shares over SMB and NFS, Oracle Database via RMAN and Microsoft 365 data. It can be installed on Windows, Linux, a virtual appliance, an AWS AMI or directly on Synology, QNAP, ASUSTOR, TrueNAS, NETGEAR and Western Digital NAS devices, and combines incremental backup with changed block tracking, global deduplication, immutable repositories with S3 Object Lock, Backup Malware Scan and instant recovery of VMs, files and SQL Server, Exchange and Active Directory objects.

NAKIVO's product lines are:

• NAKIVO Backup & Replication — backup, replication and recovery of VMs, EC2 instances, physical machines, NAS and Oracle a single web console, as an annual subscription per workload or a perpetual license per CPU socket.
• NAKIVO Backup for Microsoft 365 — backup of Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams to on-premises or cloud targets, with granular recovery and per-user licensing.
• Site Recovery — disaster recovery orchestration with automated failover, failback and non-disruptive DR testing workflows.
• Real-Time Replication for VMware — add-on for continuous replication of vSphere VMs, with RPO configurable 1 second.
• IT Monitoring for VMware — add-on for monitoring CPU, memory and storage of vSphere hosts, VMs and datastores.

NAKIVO received an Honorable Mention in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Solutions, for the second time after 2022. The company is a VMware Technology Alliance Partner, holds Nutanix Ready (AHV Integrated) certification and integrates NAKIVO Backup & Replication with Dell EMC Data Domain, HPE StoreOnce and NEC HYDRAstor deduplication appliances, as well as backup HPE and NetApp storage snapshots.
