NinjaOne is the United States company behind the NinjaOne Unified IT Operations Platform, an endpoint management, automation and protection platform used by corporate IT teams and managed service providers. Founded in 2013 as NinjaRMM and headquartered in Austin, Texas, the company rebranded to NinjaOne in October 2021, remains privately held and is controlled by co-founders Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese. According to NinjaOne, the platform serves close to 40,000 customers across more than 140 countries.

The architecture pairs a single agent installed on Windows, macOS and Linux with a multi-tenant SaaS console hosted on AWS. This lets IT teams inventory, patch and remotely access workstations, servers and virtual machines with no VPN, no domain controller and no patch server inside the customer network.

NinjaOne's main product lines are:

• Vulnerability Management — CVE prioritisation by CVSS severity, importing scan results tools such as Tenable, Qualys and Rapid7.
• NinjaOne Remote and Quick Connect — native remote access to managed devices plus invitation-based sessions for ad hoc support.
• Mobile Device Management — enrolment and management of iOS, iPadOS, Android and macOS, with Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise.
• Device Backup and SaaS Backup — image and file-level endpoint backup plus data protection for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Entra ID.
• Network Management System — SNMP monitoring of switches, routers, firewalls and printers, for equipment where the agent cannot be installed.
• Ticketing, Documentation and IT Asset Management — service desk, technical documentation and asset lifecycle tracking inside the same console.

NinjaOne reports SOC 2 Type II certification and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, FedRAMP Moderate and GovRAMP authorisation, along with GDPR and HIPAA alignment. The core platform stores data in AWS regions in the United States, Canada, Germany and Australia, while NinjaOne SaaS Backup also offers a Brazilian region. According to Gartner, NinjaOne was positioned as a Leader in the 2026 Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Management Tools.
